For over 20 years, Darko has advised clients and delivered IT solutions across a wide range of industries. He is the CEO and co-founder of Robotiq.ai, a Croatia-based product company focused on building a cutting-edge automation platform.
Throughout his career, Darko has held diverse roles spanning software development, sales, and consulting. He was a partner at InfoCumulus, where he led the Microsoft Dynamics CRM practice. Prior to that, he worked at Microsoft in several positions, ranging from developer evangelism to enterprise pre-sales.

Reinhard Holl is a senior executive in financial services and transformation, with extensive international experience spanning banking, finance, and management consulting. Since June 2025, he has served as Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) at NLB d.d., and since October 2025, he has also been responsible for IT, leading large-scale transformation, digitalisation, and efficiency initiatives.
Before joining NLB, Reinhard spent 13 years at McKinsey & Company (2012–2025), becoming a Partner in 2020. He led over 150 engagements across Europe, advising banks, fintechs, payments companies, private equity funds, and technology companies. His work focused on corporate and digital strategy, IPO readiness, cost optimisation, go-to-market strategy, and M&A support.
Earlier in his career, he worked at Standard Bank PLC (2008–2011) as Manager, Treasury & Capital Management, following his role at Lehman Brothers as an Analyst / Summer Analyst in Structured Finance and European Convertibles.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a Chartered MCSI and Chartered Wealth Manager.

Entrepreneur, founder, and experienced executive with two decades in FinTech. Co-founder and director of FLIQA, Slovenia’s Startup of the Year 2024, and President of the Supervisory Board at Paywiser Europe, a licensed e-money institution.
Former Head of Moneta, one of the world’s first mobile payment systems. Nina received the prestigious MasterCard award for the world’s best solution in the category “Most Successful Mobile Phone Payment Systems” for the Moneta–Urbana project.
Under her leadership, FLIQA was named Slovenian Startup of the Year 2024, won GameChanger Ljubljana, and took the Slovenian title at We Make Future — advancing as a shortlisted finalist among 1,500 startups worldwide.

General Manager for Adriatic, Hungary and Baltics at Wonderful
Vedran Bajer is the General Manager for the Adriatic Region at the fast-growing AI startup Wonderful, where he leads a regional hub dedicated to enterprise transformation across Southeast Europe.
Building upon his deep expertise from global tech giants, Vedran is focused on guiding enterprises through the practical application of AI agents. His work is centered on automating complex, multinational enterprise workflows – from customer communication and sales enablement to internal functions like HR and IT support, with solutions uniquely localized for every language and market nuance.
Prior to joining Wonderful, he served as the Country Manager for Microsoft Croatia and held various leadership roles during his over decade at Google.
Born in Zagreb, Vedran holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and is a doctoral candidate in Information Sciences (AI), bringing 20 years of robust, analytically driven experience from high-growth tech companies.
Policy Expert at The European Ethereum Institute
Anja Blaj Zajc is a legal and strategic advisor working at the intersection of emerging technologies, finance, and regulation. She is a policy expert at the European Ethereum Institute and President of the Slovenian Blockchain Think Tank. Her work focuses on digital assets, tokenisation, and the European regulatory landscape, with expertise in blockchain systems and their integration into traditional finance. She contributes to policy discussions and advisory projects, aligning innovation with compliance and institutional adoption, bridging builders, businesses, and regulators to shape the future of digital infrastructure.
Director of Public Policy at Mastercard
Expert in public policy, public affairs, competition economics and law, with an educational background in public policy and finance, and extensive experience in payments and financial markets. Currently serving as Director of Government Affairs at Mastercard, with previous roles at the Hungarian Competition Authority across both antitrust and merger control. Actively engaged in philanthropy and social impact initiatives through founding a non-profit organization dedicated to providing cultural and educational opportunities for children in need, leading Mastercard’s “beyondBAU” efforts in Hungary, and co-founding the first strategic philanthropy advisory firm in Hungary and the CEE region. Outside of professional activities, writes fiction focused on magical realism and urban fantasy set in Japan, and practices and teaches traditional Japanese swordsmanship (kenjutsu).
Vice Governor at the Governing Board of Banka Slovenije
Marko Pahor is Vice Governor and Member of the Governing Board at Banka Slovenije, where he oversees a broad portfolio including microprudential supervision, as well as payment and settlement systems. In this capacity, he plays a central role in safeguarding the stability and efficiency of Slovenia’s financial system and in contributing to the development of European supervisory policies. Prior to joining the central bank, he spent more than two decades as a professor of statistics and economics at the University of Ljubljana. His academic work covered a wide range of applied topics, including financial markets, marketing analytics, and management science, combining rigorous quantitative methods with real-world applications.
In addition to his domestic responsibilities, Marko Pahor is actively engaged at the European level. He serves as a member of the Supervisory Board of the European Central Bank within the Single Supervisory Mechanism. He is also Slovenia’s single common representative on the General Board of the Anti-Money Laundering Authority, and contributes to key strategic initiatives through his participation in the ECB’s high-level task force on the digital euro and the high-level advisory group on Appia. His work sits at the intersection of policy, supervision, and research, with a strong focus on translating analytical insights into effective regulatory and supervisory frameworks.

Una Softić is Managing Director at Intertangible, a professional services firm specializing in AI and fintech, and Strategic Advisor to Coinpost, Japan’s largest Web3 media platform. Previously, she led global innovation programs at Nikkei, specializing in AI applications in fintech. She serves on boards and advises emerging tech ventures, drawing on 15+ years of experience in international business development and product strategy, which began at Intel and General Motors across Europe and the U.S.
Mislav Ante Omazić
President of the Board and Acting Dean at IEDC – Bled School of Management
Prof. Dr. Mislav Ante Omazić is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb, and President of the Management Board and Acting Dean of IEDC – Bled School of Management.
His work focuses on leadership, change management, and responsible business, bridging academia and practice through collaborations with organisations such as the World Bank, IFC, and leading global companies. He has led numerous strategic and innovation-driven initiatives and brings extensive experience in aligning leadership development with real-world transformation challenges. His current interests include the intersection of leadership, technology, and sustainable value creation.
Emerging technologies & finance researcher, Writer, Econ Award Winner
Sergej Golubović is a Slovenian researcher, speaker, and youth advocate focused on digital finance, platform economics, and emerging technologies. He is the author of The Invisible Bank and recipient of a National Gold Award for his research on Open Banking. In 2025, he received the City Municipality of Ljubljana Recognition for Special Achievements in Research. He also hosts the podcast Neobremenjeno, featuring conversations with entrepreneurs, policymakers, and innovators, and serves in the Presidency of the Slovenian Secondary Students’ Organization, advocating for youth participation and innovation.
Barbara Hočevar
Partner, Head of the Regulatory & Compliance team at Šelih & partnerji
Barbara is Head of the Regulatory & Compliance team at law firm Šelih & partnerji and has been a Partner since 2014. She advises domestic and high-profile multinational clients on complex compliance and regulatory matters, with particular experience in highly regulated sectors such as banking, financial products, telecommunications and media. Her practice also includes negotiating and concluding a wide range of commercial agreements.
She is recognised for her deep regulatory expertise, business-oriented approach and ability to address complex regulatory regimes effectively and creatively, whether in strategic projects or day-to-day operations.
Barbara is also a key member of the firm’s Antitrust and Competition practice, advising clients in regulated industries on competition aspects of their projects.
Her standing in the market is reflected in her recognition by Chambers Global Guide 2026.
Managing Partner of Bloctopus Intelligence
Peter Merc is a Slovenian legal and fintech professional specialising in crypto-assets, blockchain/DLT, tokenisation and financial regulation. He is Managing Partner at Lemur Legal, advising deep-tech, fintech and blockchain companies, and Head of Legal and Compliance at GateHub Exchange, a crypto-asset service provider. He is also Co-Founder and Chief Legal Officer of Blocksquare, a real-world asset tokenisation infrastructure company, and Managing Partner of Bloctopus Intelligence, focused on blockchain intelligence and crypto recovery. Peter previously served as Head of Legal and Compliance at mBills/Petrol Pay, and held senior legal and compliance roles in Slovenian banking. He is a president of a supervisory Board in JonatanMars Invest.
Anja Gabrovšek
Legal Advisor within Financial Instruments Market Department at ATVP
Anja Gabrovšek is a legal and regulatory expert at the Slovenian Securities Market Agency (ATVP), working within the Financial Instruments Market Department, where her work focuses on EU financial regulation and the practical implementation of MiCA. Before joining ATVP, she gained regulatory experience in fintech and payment services at the Bank of Slovenia. Her current work includes authorisation and supervisory matters relating to crypto-asset service providers.
Special Advisor for Business‑Technical Solutions at Bankart,
Sašo Knap is a Special Advisor for Business‑Technical Solutions at Bankart, providing business-technical colsulting and Support to financial institutions in adopting Bankart’s services building value‑added payment services. He previously led Bankart’s Issuing Business Unit (2016–25), overseeing card issuance, card account services and card authorization/value‑added features. He coordinated major issuer migrations and collaborated on delivering innovations including contactless rollout, HCE/mobile wallets, instant (digital) issuing, PCI DSS compliant digital PIN distribution, lifecycle/user management, and AML/KYC‑aligned prepaid card product. He also contributed in delivering eIDAS‑certified, agnostic Rekono digital ID onboarding based on card PIN. In 2025, he spoke at the Bankart Shield Forum on transaction risk and fraud prevention, domain expertise with advanced analytics and machine‑learning‑assisted detection to improve decisioning and deliver a better customer experience.
Director of Financial Advisory and Sales at Generali Investments
With over 20 years of experience in the financial sector and capital markets. I began my career in 2003 at Abanka, where I contributed to the development of one of the first networks of bank-distributed mutual funds. In 2005 I joined KD BPD, a brokerage firm, where I initially worked as a stockbroker. In 2009, I became a private banker at the newly established KD Bank, focusing on wealth management, brokerage services, and corporate finance. In 2013, I took on a role in the collaboration between the Swiss private bank EFG and the asset management company Generali Investments, working in the field of private banking. In 2015, I was appointed Director of the Financial Advisory and Sales at Generali Investments, a position I still hold today.

Journalist and editor of 30 years, in recent years also a podcaster, public speaker and event manager. Held various editorial positions in print media, both regional and national. Founding editor of DNVK magazine, previously managing editor of Dnevnik daily (Ljubljana) and editor in chief of Primorske novice daily (Koper). Regular contributor to regional (N1 Croatia, Radio Beograd, Al Jazeera Balkans, TV Montenegro …) and national (largest Slovenian TV and radio stations, both public and private. Edward R. Simon Steinman
Advisor to the NLB Management Board for Payment Services and Innovation
Assistant to the Management Board; NLB Group Payments and Innovation NLB Group
Simon is a senior payments and innovation expert with two decades of experience in banking, fintech, and digital payments across the Slovenian and broader regional market. Since 2023 he has led the NLB Group’s Payments Center of Excellence and Innovation, where he is responsible for building out the Group’s payments and cards competency line, executing strategic Group-wide payments initiatives, and driving new, innovative business models.
Before NLB, Simon spent seven years at Mbills d.o.o., one of Slovenia’s pioneering mobile payments providers, first as Product Owner and later as Deputy Managing Director (2015–2022). Earlier in his career, he held progressively senior roles at UniCredit Banka Slovenija.
He holds an Executive MBA from Cotrugli Business School in Zagreb and a university degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana.
CEO at Electrocoin, co-founder at Money Motion
Nikola Škorić graduated in Computer Science from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb in 2007. After graduation, he obtained a reactor operator license and worked in the nuclear industry. After seven years, in 2014 he founded Electrocoin to enable simple, legal, and professional cryptocurrency trading in Croatia. Over the years, the company became Croatia’s largest crypto exchange, serving clients across the European Union, and a fully regulated entity offering multiple services through its platforms. Electrocoin works with many strategic partners, enabling crypto payments at thousands of locations nationwide, including Tifon gas stations and Croatia’s leading webshop bazaar.hr. Škorić is a co-founder of UBIK and the Money Motion conference, and a strong advocate for regulation and transparency in the industry.
Deputy Director, Bank of Slovenia, Payment and Settlement Systems
Anja Rijavec Uršej is Deputy Director at the Bank of Slovenia in the Payment and Settlement Systems Department, where she leads strategic development unit. She has extensive experience in banking, payments and financial regulation, gained through senior roles at both the Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Slovenia.
She is actively engaged at the European level, including the Digital Euro project as a member of Project steering group.
Anja also regularly shares her expertise through professional seminars and has supported central banks in Southeast Europe through technical assistance projects focused on payment services regulation and innovation.
Klemen Radosavljević
Partner at Wolf Theiss Slovenia
Klemen Radosavljević is a Partner who joined Wolf Theiss in 2008 and heads the Banking & Finance practice of the firm’s Slovenian office. He advises banks, financial institutions, corporates, and sponsors on financing transactions, including syndicated and bilateral lending facilities, acquisition finance, project finance, and refinancings.
Klemen has extensive experience in structuring and negotiating syndicated loan facilities, acting for arrangers and borrowers on cross-border and domestic transactions. His capital markets practice covers debt issuances, bond programmes, and regulatory aspects of securities offerings.
He also advises regulated financial institutions on banking regulatory matters, including licensing, prudential requirements, and compliance with Slovenian and EU banking legislation.
Klemen graduated from the University of Ljubljana and obtained an LL.M. from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Primož Patru
CEO at Dinit
Primož Patru is a payments industry expert with more than 20 years of experience in card processing, payments and financial services. He is the founder and CEO at Dinit Card Services, a pan-European payment processor headquarted in Izola, Slovenia.
Throughout his career, Primož has held leadership roles across banking, card services, and international payment organizations, including Intesa Sanpaolo, Diners Club Italia, Discover Financial Services / Diners Club International and Corner banca. He is recognized for combining deep technical understanding with strategic business leadership and for driving innovation in the rapidly evolving digital payments ecosystem.
Under his current leadership role, Dinit evolved from a regional processing center into an international fintech company delivering secure and scalable payment solutions for issuers and acquirers across Europe.
